Wow. And a big thank you.

I got the most amazing and surprising email. It was a gift certificate from Amazon, and had a note thanking me for every word of my Mag 7 story Cold Enough to Snow. Now, it's always wonderful to know that someone read and enjoyed your story, but that was just really, really sweet and wonderful and so totally unexpected.

And I don't know who it is! They don't send you the email address of the person who sent it, so I can't thank her, and all I can do is post here and say that Wendy, I really appreciate your kind gift, and it made some tough times recently feel a lot more bearable. (And if I do know you in fandom by a different appellation, please let me know! I am often horrible at remembering RL names vs. fannish names.)

I always really loved that story, and it makes me love it even more that it's been able to make so many people happy. (Seriously, they live to be 99 and die in each other's arms. I'm just sayin'.)

Truthfully
Cold Enough to Snow ranks as my favorite M7 story--and I can safely say I have read every C/V story out there.

I am not that generous anonymous person, but I am also a major, major fan of that story. Actually all of your M7 stories are wonderful, wonderful things, but that one is really... heartbreaking and possibly your best.

I had always assumed it was due to it being the last one you wrote in that fandom, leading me to think that if you ever posted another M7 story I would fall over dead with happiness.

:D

So totally not stalking you, but can I help it if I love your stories? It's really your own fault for writing such beautiful, thoughtful gems...

I don’t usually reply to posts but I will in this case. I’ve been experiencing this very same problem with a new WordPress installation of mine. I’ve spent weeks calibrating and getting it ready when all of a sudden… I cannot delete any content. It’s a workaround that, although isn’t perfect, does the trick so thanks! I really hope this problem gets solved properly asap.
